Ashton Tremain teams up with Melbourne Rumourtism
Hailing from the chilled out Northern Beaches of Sydney, Ashton Tremain is a young singer/songwriter with a passion for music. Combining a mix of Influences ranging from Rock to Reggae, Ashtons sound is unique in its ability to cross genres from one song to the next. Starting out from a local busking competition, Ashton has spent the last few years Writing songs and playing gigs all over the east coast of Australia. After a few years of handing out demos and the increase of well received headline and support shows, Ashton began sifting through his songs in preparation for the makings of his debut album "Ocean Street Beats ". Rumourtism, the culmination of 10 years jamming, writing, travelling, performing and recording between close friends. Years of gigs and residencies around Melbourne led us to the songs that would become our debut EP Manuia. We enjoyed a sellout EP launch at the Evelyn Hotel in late 2007, and recently our single/filmclip launch of No Hello at the East Brunswick Club.
